My crypto value is very high (nearing 7 figures in dollar value), where should i store it?

All Cryptocurrencies

I have been using a ledger for couple of years now and had no problem so far. The software is easy to use and seems secure.

But i came across a post today on reddit that the ledger is not open source compared to other devices on the market. This is not a hit on ledger, i’m legitimately curious as it is in my best interest to use the most secured/safe method of storing crypto.

I have also heard that although ledger itself may not be open source but the applications that it use to manage crypto is (ie the bitcoin app on the ledger is open source). Total value of my crypto is 6 figures in US dollar value right now and I’m expecting it to go 7 figures if it recovers to ATH.

Here are my options: 1. Just stick to ledger as it’s not a big deal. 2. Buy multiple cold storage devices and split my crypto holdings. 3. Change to another device that is open source. 4. Send all crypto to a reliable exchange (i’m joking).

Any suggestions? Any ideas? I’ve been in the crypto game for the past 5 years and had no problem so far, just getting little bit anxious now since my holdings are getting quiet significant. Thank you in advance my friends!

PS i’ve disclosed my amount many times on reddit but contrary to popular belief, ive never received any dumb scammy dms lol (not that id fall for them)
