Say you are using one of these "offshore" VPN providers... Is there any way in which they could snoop/steal or even identify/tie your identity to your crypto transactions?
I am still new to all this crypto related stuff, so bear with me and my ignorance on the topic. From the client side of things I imagine all is encrypted, kind of HTTPS in a sense, but I don't know if there are things like SSL Strip to break down the encryption happening or not though either...
Additionally if you are just using public electrum servers and not a full node/private electrum server, maybe your IP/addresses get leaked through to those and if that data is accessible to the public than maybe the VPN provider can cross correlate IP addresses to determine which wallet addresses have what amounts etc.
This is probably a weird post/inquiry with odd tangents, so in the end the simple question is just: Is there any way in which they could snoop/steal or even identify/tie your identity to your crypto transactions?
