I have a question if someone would be so kind as to explain this to me. The etherscan.io/nodetracker tells me that there are a little over 8,700 Ethereum nodes (although if you select "view all nodes" it states that it has found over 500,000 nodes!). However, However, other resources (like beaconscan.com/statistics) say that there are over 460,000 validators. Validators have to run nodes, correct?
Obviously I'm missing something here. Can someone explain? Thanks in advance!
