Been watching over the years as BitcoinMagazine.com jacks up the prices of the magazines on their online shop. I know the older ones are quite collectable but even the new issues are being sold for nearly double the listed price charged in stores.
At the local bookstore I see multiple issues available for the cover price of $12.99, why are they $21 online? (shipping not included)
As for the older issues, how many are left? They could continue to print them and offer them for thousands of dollars and no one would know? In 10 years they weren't able to sell them all?
The practice of selling your own product, both new and old, above the listed value and at resale prices is tacky. At least allow people to post reviews. The Orange Party issue had almost no information about Bitcoin itself.
