Polkadot Offering Blockchain Academy at UC Berkley

While much of the crypto community is driven by various goals, Polkadot is seeking to educate the next gen of developers.

Here is the blurb for the course:

The Polkadot Blockchain Academy is the first of its kind — a classroom-based educational program covering the conceptual underpinnings and the hands-on application of blockchain technology, using Polkadot and Substrate as the foundations. Founded by Gavin Wood, the Academy is run by leading engineers and researchers from the Polkadot ecosystem, Parity Technologies, and the Web3 Foundation.

Does it offer a certification?

Yes. At the end of the Academy your work will be examined and graded. If you graduate successfully you will receive the Polkadot Blockchain Academy Graduation Certificate and will have the opportunity to apply for a job at Parity Technologies, and teams within the Polkadot ecosystem.
