Satoshi's Privacy Protocol

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone here knows any of the steps/tools Satoshi used in order to protect his privacy/pseudonymity?

Did he use Tor over vpn over tor?
did he use public wifi to post?
Did he self host?

I'm asking because it seems to me no one in recent history has been so popular and probably so looked into than Satoshi has been, and yet little to nothing has been found/uncovered.

If anyone has any insight into any of the steps he took at any level and can explain how they know he used that step/tool, it would be greatly appreciated.
