[Security] [Discussion] Why are there difference levels of security implementations on the mobile and desktop modes?

I try to max all the security features available on Binance (SMS, Email, Authenticator as 2FA, Address whitelisting with 24hr limit) except for security key using Authy. I usually do all these changes on the desktop.

I notice both the desktop and mobile modes implement the security features differently.

1. On mobile, I can login using either SMS OR Authenticator but on desktop I am required to input ALL 3 2FA like SMS, Email and Authenticator. See photos.
2. On desktop, there is a 24 hr limit for addition of new address but on mobile, this 24 hr limit does not apply.

What is the reason for the difference in security implementation? Is it because the mobile is less likely to be hacked? What if the hacker uses another mobile to access the accounts on Binance?

My concerns are related to the thread Hacked - all my life savings in account.
