So after all the ledger news I ordered my parts for my seed signer so I can createy own wallet in a stateless airgapped wallet.
All seems really cool. I'm excited. Then I get to bed and think to myself; everything is communicated from QR code from device to device. Isn't this still a little bit like copy paste from seed signer to laptop? Or like sending data over a cable?
Can anyone explain how the QR code is more secure than copy pasting data to my laptop? Are we still essentially sending sensitive data to a non airgapped device to send a txn?
Is there an Eli5 for how the QR system works?
