Solo mining on my own node - does maxuploadtarget matters?

Bitcoin Reddit

Just for fun and learning, I have purchased one of those small home lottery miners. Since I already use my own full node for making BTC transactions, I thought I would also use it for my miner.

I have successfully set up a cksolo pool instance and pointed it to my node. The miner is working fine and everything looks good.

Now, my question is, given that my home setup has limited bandwidth (data-wise), I have already limited the usage using maxuploadtarget=500MB in my Bitcoin Core configuration. This limits the number of historical blocks that can be downloaded from me by other nodes.

In the very unlikely scenario that I find a proper block, would these settings be compliant? What I mean is, if my node has already done a 500MB upload, will it still be able to push my newly found block to other connected nodes? My understanding is that it should work, as this option should only affect historical blocks, but I'm not 100% sure.
