Stacking has crept up on me and now I need to upgrade my storage

So I've held bitcoin for a while. I started slowly stacking in 2016. Just a little bit every paycheck, and have slowly increased that amount as able.

Back in 2016 I generated a 12 word BIP39 seed phrase. I backed this up to Lastpass. My Lastpass master password was 18 diceware generated words, stored in my head. That was the first and last time I looked at my seed phrase. Since then I've used an xpub to generate new addresses to receive my sats.

I haven't really bothered to look at my balance until recently, and had a holy heck moment. I now have almost 6 figures fiat equivalent in BTC.

I ditched lastpass earlier this year after their massive breach. I assume my vault was stolen, although still encrypted with a strong master password. With that I mind I want to move my coins ASAP, and upgrade to a storage solution that is more fitting for the amount I have.

Obviously I need to sort my sh*t out. I guess I had a few questions:

1. Hardware wallet, yay or nay? I don't see how it offers more security than an airgapped PC, especially as with or without I'd need to write down my new seed phrase (and seems like the weakest link in the chain).

2. How do ya'll store your seed phrases? It seems like a weak link. Metal slate with words engraved, then stored in a bank vault or similar? Or just stored at home? Even in a home safe I'd feel a little worried about it...

3. My UTXOs are spread across hundreds of addresses. If I generate a new seed phrase, is there an easy way to send them to the equivalent number of new addresses? I'd rather not have them all consolidated in one address, but this may be the cheapest option from a fee perspective.
