Trying to invest while stationed overseas

Im in the military and at my first duty station in Sicily and when I got here I bought and Italian phone plan/Sim card. I want to buy Crypto on apps like Crypto.com but Ive run into errors because it says I need to verify an Italian tax code so I think the apps think Im an Italian citizen. I don't want to miss out on any opportunities because lIl be here for a long time so any advice on how I could begin buying Crypto in my situation would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
