Unable to upload a 16 KB portrait picture

I am in the midst of verification and I am unable to upload the portrait picture.- Tried a different OS/device- Tried change file format- Tried lowering/increasing quality

The error says -

Please do not upload files that are too large/small, the recommended image size is around 10kb~5120kb

I wonder does 16 KB fits between 10kb~5120kb ? I am good at maths my friends say :(

16 KiloBytes (KB) = 128 Kilobits (Kb)

and 128kb is between 10kb and 5120kb according to my knowledge.

Update : Ok now it not showing the error I increased the file size.. however it is now not even doing anything no error, loading or anything. :(
