Understanding Double standards within Community

I've been an active member of this subreddit for quite some time, and I've noticed something intriguing - we all share a common vision of mass adoption for crypto, yet our opinions are widely diverse on several crucial aspects.

1.Mass Adoption vs. Personal Circles: Many of us strive for the widespread adoption of crypto, hoping it becomes mainstream. However, many of us are hesitant to share this enthusiasm with our family and friends.

2.Balancing Security and Regulation: We all desire secure investments but often find ourselves opposing govt bills aimed at regulating crypto. Additionally, there's a trust that the same government will punish scammers when we fall victim to fraud. What are your thoughts on this contradiction?

Ps: Note that i to am not in favor of govt regulations on crypto but there seems to be no middle ground to this.

3.Price Surge vs. Whales' Actions: We cheer for our favorite moons to skyrocket in value, yet become frustrated when whales take profits, expecting them to hold their coins indefinitely.

1. Replacing Fiat while Restricting Access: It's a common goal for us to see crypto replace fiat currencies, yet we also emphasize the importance of safeguarding these digital assets from being misused by bad actors like ISIS.
   

While these are on the top of my mind there are many more topics on which we seem to contradict ourselves. I m not saying the whole sub has opposing views on these but I mostly see same user's comments different views. What do you think are the reasons behind these differences?
