Or any other fiat currency? I see a lot of comments saying that all bitcoin transactions for goods should be priced in BTC, to enable higher adoption.
Just because you price something with a different metric, doesn't affect the value or adoption levels IMO. It's just an arbitrary number which helps people get an idea of the price. Exactly like when you go on holiday and have to work out the value of the local currency in your own fiat currency.
This idea of not wanting the price to be in USD or whatever is dumb, I've been into bitcoin for years and I struggle with all the zeros after the decimal point. Yeah I know you could price in sats too, but it's still difficult to get an idea of how much stuff costs. I would have to google it every time, rather than just instantly knowing the value.
