With the current success of Reddit avatars and how well has it been received by the public, will other social media apps (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook..) follow with releasing their own NFTS?

I’m amazed at how well the Reddit avatars have been received by the public. Specially with the free NFTs, since most users that claimed they disliked nft’s started to gain some interest as soon as they received one for free. Not only that, but with the recent release of Gen 2 Avatars I’m sure that other social media apps have seen the hype on these NFTs.

I know that most people hate NFTs and if a popular social media app like Instagram, Twitter or Facebook announced their own release, they would get tons of hate. But as we’ve seen on Reddit, people tend to change their minds as soon as they get one for free.

I believe this would be great for mass adoption, especially if they start to implement utilities to those who buy nfts. What do you think, is it too soon for other social media apps to follow Reddit steps on NFTs or will we soon more adoption soon?
