I remember back in the greener days almost a year ago when everywhere you clicked a scammer was lurking by. Every social media platform was filled with scammers and bots messaging you about the latest rug pull you should get in. Of course now that everything is dropping in price, the scammers have crawled back to their caves.
But... something funny happened today which got me thinking. Someone messaged me on reddit (I think this wasn't a bot) and asked me to shill a "project" in exchange for payment. Now, I am not a rich guy, so the proposal wasn't too bad for my standards but of course I declined (see messages below).
In a serious note, this got me thinking whether you would accept such payment in order to do something "unethical". I would perhaps willingly promote a project that I truly believe in. What if this was to promote something that was actually good? What would you do?
