Don't be fooled by influencers change of color. They are as bad as before

When I got into crypto around the December of 2020, influencers had a great time. Btc's price had surged by over 300% since January so it made sense for people to expect it to pass 100k before the end of 2021. And influencers were there to fan the flames of hype.

I remember watching in awe as they were showing their luxurious lifestyle. Private jets, huge villas, super sport cars. People been persuaded easily. And influencers didn't disappoint. Why? Because they couldn't not to! You could have shilled "anything" in that period and it would go up. Which made things even better for influencers.

Their raise continued during most of 2021. They were considered magicians, masters of the art of becoming a millionaire over the night. Or so people thought until the crash came. Their reaction was the usual "just hold" at first. But the market kept going south and soon people became restless.

Some just disappeared. Others faced lawsuits. But most of them just changed color. By the summer of 2022 there was no more talking about lambos and private jets. They started to talk about "long term" plans. Risk assessment. And mostly how to ride waves.

One would have thought there were growing a conscious. Suddenly they were talking with caution. Don't think for a second that they have changed. They are the same bastards responsible for millions of people losing their money by making false advertisment and shilling shitcoins. They are just changing tactics. As soon as market partly recovers we will be back to 100k btc and people will be jumping the hype bandwagon.

Influencers are not the problem but a symptom of a very sick economy. And they will continue to exist until there are decent laws to hold them accountable. Laws that can't be avoided by adding a simple "this is not a financial advice" to an actual financial advice. Until then, no crypto winter can get rid of those pests.
