Why do people hate on crypto for no reason?

As you all know, lots of people just hate on crypto and everything related to it for absolutely no reasons whatsoever.

It seems like people just follow what others say mindlessly always and never actually try to get a self-made opinion on matters. For example, a bunch of memes, and various posts criticized crypto for some dumbass reasons, and they got somewhat popular, and it seems like everyone jumped on the bandwagon without actually doing their own research or having their own opinion.

Also, we all know bad news attract clicks and attention, and because of that many accounts, for example “Crypto Bros taking Ls” on Twitter, capitalize on that. They usually show a bunch of posts and news articles that have crypto related subjects in bad light, but the sad part is that most of their posts are stuff taken out of context or mostly untrue. And these posters seem to tend to only post about bad things happening, but seems to blind and ignore whenever something good happens, Or never mention charitable coins that are making the world a better place (example : PAW is feeding the poor, BAN is helping research, etc…)

Some reasons they give too is that it's bad for the environment, or that it's some form of scam. First, I'm pretty sure using any other thing on the internet on a daily basis is as bad for the environment. And the mining of worthless stones that are good for nothing except they look nice is also bad for the environment, but they forget that. (and if we have 100% renewable energy crypto will technically not be bad, while real life mining will be). Also, I don't get how it can be a scam, that's again a claim because of their lack of research.

(TLDR, kinda) So it's basically because of a mindless hivemind that can't make their own opinions, and some ignorant posters who usually post out of context and false “bad” situations of crypto while ignoring anything good that happens. With a bunch of badly made claims.

There should be more widespread good news spreaders to combat that, maybe.
